Largest victories (by runs) from Women's ODI cricket World Cup 

1997 women's cricket World Cup which was also known as 'Hero Honda Women's World Cup' was the 6th cricket World Cup and was only the second time that India hosted the major event, the event was famous for both highest total made by a team (Australia's 412/3) and also the lowest score made by another team (Pakistan's 82 ball 27/all-out) the match which will be discussed here is the famous match in which a batter scored the first ever double hundred in One day internationals.

On 16th December, 1997, Australia faced the associate nation Denmark at Mumbai, winning the toss and elected to bat first captain and opener Clarke started an assault on the hapless and inexperienced bowling attack of Denmark, Clarke ultimately finished the innings with a massive unbeaten 229, the total score of Australia was 412/3 in their stipulated 50 overs, this was not only the first time a batter scored double hundred but this was also the first time a team scored 400+ in any One day internationals, the highest team total in Men's cricket was Srilanka's 398/5 against Kenya in 1996 cricket world cup.

In reply, Denmark who were never actually in the match at the first place, were bowled out for a paltry 49 with Karen Rolton (3.5 overs-0 maiden-9 runs- 2 wickets), Cathryn Fitzpatrick (3 overs-1 maiden- 3 runs- 2 wickets) and Charmaine Mason  (3 overs-1 maiden-13 runs- 2 wickets)  destroying Denmark's batting line-up, none of the Danish batter's reached double figures with extras (16) being the highest contributor in the team total the second best was opener Dorte Christensen 9 runs.

Australia won by 363 runs.

World Cup 2015 has almost everything, new records were made, some records were broken, some unwanted controversies, some heartbreaking moments and some moments to rejoice,amidst all of this Australia who were one of the host  (alongside New Zealand) and  does what they do best- dominate and destroy opposition.

On 4th March, 2015, Australia faced Afghanistan at the Perth, Afghanistan won the toss and asked Australia to bat first which proved to big mistake as Australia scored a gigantic 417/6 in their stipulated 50 overs, thanks largely due to the contribution of opener David Warner (178), Steven Smith (95) and Glenn Maxwell (88).

In reply, Afghanistan never get the opportunity to get going with both Mitchell's (Johnson- 4/22 and  Starc 2/18) and Hazlewood- 2/25 breathed fire and destroy Afghan's batting line up with only Nawroz Mangal (33) and Najibullah Zadran (24) were able to grind and score some valuable runs and Afghanistan were all-out for 142.

Australia won by 275 runs.

 Largest victories (by runs) from men's T20I cricket World Cup

T20 was getting a huge popularity and ICC decided to start world cup tournament for the shorter format of the game, the first T20 world cup (2007) started in the rainbow nation, as mentioned in the above Srilanka scored a mammoth total of 398 against Kenya in 96' cricket world cup, when this two side meet in the 2nd match of Group 'C', Kenya again failed to stop the island nation from scoring the then world record total of  260/6 in their stipulated 20 overs with the contribution of Sanath Jayasuriya (88), Mahela Jayawardene (65) and Jehan Mubarak (debuting in T20I scored 46).

In reply, Kenya's batters were never looked like chasing this huge total and kept losing wickets and Chaminda Vaas (2/15), Malinga (2/13), Dilshan (2/4) destoyed Kenya's batting line-up and they were all-out for 88.

Srilanka won by 172 runs.

 Largest victories (by runs) from women's T20I cricket World Cup

The seventh edition of the women's T20 world cup was held in Australia, in the 4th match of the Group 'B', South Africa faced Thailand at Manuka oval, Canberra, batting first South Africa scored a  huge total of 195/3, mostly due to the contribution of Lizelle Lee's (101) splendid century and Sune Luus (61).

In reply, Thailand were bowled out for mere 82 runs with Shabnim Ismail (8/3) and Sune Luus (3/15) dismantled Thailand batting unit.

South Africa won by 113 runs.
