In reply, Pakistan never looked like  they can achieve this daunting task and also they were shot down for mere 47 runs, with Claire Nicholson (7 overs - 2 maidens -18 runs- 4 wickets) and Justine Fryer (5 overs - 3 maidens - 8 runs- 3 wickets) made short work of them.

Result- New Zealand women's won by 408 runs.

Just like women's cricket team New Zealand men's team also holds the record of winning by  a huge margin of runs in ODI cricket.

On July 01 2008, Kiwis faced Ireland in Aberdeen in a tri series which also involving hosts Scotland, batting first, New Zealand batted first and scored a mammoth total of 402/2, due to the contributions of  Brandon McCullum (166), James Marshall (161) and Ross Taylor (59).

In reply, Ireland were all-out for 112, with Tim Southee (6 overs - 0 maidens -22 runs- 3 wickets) and Michael Mason (7 overs - 0 maidens -35 runs- 3 wickets) made short work of them .

Result- New Zealand won by 290 runs.
