How England lost against India after the brisk start in the 1st ODI match?

India vs.England 2021

It's amazing how England lost their way after having a brisk start, they were 135/0 (14.1) overs, but then Debutant Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna snared 2 important wickets (Jason Roy and Ben Stokes) in his two consecutive overs and somehow it ate up all the momentum the English Openers generated, let's see what actually went against England -

Jason Roy's failure to get his innings going :- Another 40 by Roy, another fantastic innings which ended quite tamely, Roy is one of the best openers of White ball cricket but amazingly he is not able to convert his starts to a big innings which actually his team need badly and his wicket somehow killed the momentum both of the openers generated.

Bairstow's dismissal at the wrong time :-  Just when it look like that England is recovering quite well after those two quick wickets,Skipper Eoin Morgan and Bairstow  were pulling thing back, everything looked good, until Bairstow who was at 94 and looked like to get another century thrown his wicket  which actually hit them hard.

Woeful performances from the rest of the batting order :- English cricket team which has batting till number 10, failed to live upto the expectations as they were not able to replicate the performance or cant keep the momentum going after that brilliant start by the openers, with Stokes (1) and Buttler (2) got out cheaply, skipper Morgan (22) , injured Billings(18), Moeen Ali (30) and Sam Curran (12)  all got starts but none can provide a push which was necessary to keep the chase going, as former skipper  Nasir Hussain mentioned in Sky Sports broadcast they really missed Joe Root there who can bat sensibly and still score a quick 40 or 50.

Brilliant performance from Indian side :- last but not the least its a brilliant bowling performance by the Indian pace battery (which took 9 wickets) that bring back India back into the match after a horrific start it was Debutant Prasidh Krishna (4 for 54, best bowling performance by an Indian bowler in his debut ODI match) who came back to give England a jolt, Shardul Thakur (3 for 37) who took two quick wickets (Morgan and Buttler) in a single over and an ever reliant Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2 for 30) whose impressive performance handed India another memorable win.

In a cricket match momentum is important, England lost the match because they lost momentum in middle overs, what do you think , where do you think England lost the match against India, kindly let me know in comments, also kindly share and suggest what can I do to improve my writing ?
