Kevin Pietersen was one of the great batsmen of England, how many times he had won matches for England, but he was dropped from the national side after England's disastrous Ashes campaign in Australia.
Kevin revealed a huge secret in his autobiography (KP: The Autobiography), which gives hints why he was dropped (according to him) from the national side.
He had told how the unity of the England cricket team has been fabricated. According to him, in the England dressing room bowlers who were playing very well, used to bully other team mates, he has mentioned that Graeme Swann, Jimmy Anderson, Stuart Broad used to do this and used to harass fielder who used to drop catches on their bowling and they ask for apologies from the fielder to apologize for the horrible crime.
Kevin mentioned that how he was alone or completely freindless in the dressing room, Matt Prior used to talk ill ( about Kevin) on his back or how the post of Vice - Captaincy went into his head, and how Matt Prior is a bad influence.
According to him, Andy Flower (Former Zimbabwe Captain- Wicket Keeper- Batsman & Former England Coach)
used to make the atmosphere of fear, Kevin mentioned in his Autobiography that Andy Flower is a difficult person to work with, Kevin told Flower about Jonathan Trott's struggle during the Ashes in Australia, prior to him flying home with a stress-related illness.
Ricky Ponting (Former Australian Captain) also confirmed these things , and according to Greame Smith (former South African captain & opener ) added that they always knew the England players would start "turning on each other."
Mike Atherton had said how Kevin Pietersen is friendless in England's dressing room.
However, Kevin Pietersen did not make criticism of former England captain Alastair Cook, when he (Kevin) was fired from the team, then Alastair Cook did not try to save him, so he was hurt. Cook later admitted that sacking of Pietersen wasn't handled ‘well'.
After this revelations Greame Swann told The Telegraph that if there was a bully in England dressing room it was none other than Kevin himself.
Matt Prior mentioned that he's ready to fight back any kind of claims made against him and how he is saddened by the bullying accusations and a negative influence.
Not sure who is lying or who is right here, but one thing for sure that due to infighting amongst Team mates Kevin lost his place in team as well as England team lost a good batsmen.
